Origin of the myth: Valentino
Since the emergence of 1920’s screen idol Rudolph Valentino, “Latin Lovers” have become commonplace in American pop culture. The trend is certainly continuing with stars like William Levy and Jencarlos Canela. So we thought we’d save you ladies the trouble of searching for your favorite Hispanic hunks, by preparing a concise (and sexy) photo gallery.
The original “Latin stud” was actually not Latino at all. This 1920’s screen idol was born in Italy, but still achieved the title of “Latin Lover” for his roles in movies like “The Shiek.” Amazingly nearly 100 years after his death, Valentino is still as revered as ever.
WILLIAM LEVY.....AYYYY DIOS MIO...QUE HOMBRE MAS CHULO YMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY
