Celebrity divorces are never pretty and the one happening right now between Paulina Rubio and Nicolas “Colate” Vallejo-Nagera may be one of the worst ones yet. Since their March 2012 split, Pau Pau and Nic have been trading public jabs and unloading tons of family secrets to the press. And this week, the Mexican pop diva revealed a ton of dirt that was picked up by her personal private eye.

According to a TMZ report, Rubio feels Colate is unfit to raise their two-year-old son Nicolas Jr. Her court documents claim that he has “repeatedly demonstrated detrimental behavior and a lack of parental responsibility” towards the boy. Pau Pau also unloaded a laundry list of gripes against Vallejo-Nagera’s parenting skills.

For one, she claims that he would continually disobey her and take Nicolas Jr. for outings when he was not feeling well. Rubio also accused Nic Sr. of refusing to change his son’s dirty diapers and constantly leaving him unsupervised in his stroller. And if that wasn’t bad enough, she stated that Colate had a habit of smoking cigarettes around his young son.

But to be fair, Paulina is no angel either. Since the birth of Nicolas Jr., she’s earned plenty of headlines for her bad behavior, which included beating up a male assistant, not paying her taxes, and getting locked up for disorderly conduct. Vallejo-Nagera has also publicly bashed her parenting skills and denied all of the allegations against him.

We’ll be very curious to see how Colate responds to Rubio’s latest round of allegations. He’s not one to shy away from publicity, so expect an angry response before the week is up. But of course, the only opinion that really matters is that of the divorce court judge. We'll be very curious to see what the final custody ruling is after all of this chisme dust settles. Let's just hope that the decision is made in Nicolas Jr's best interests.

What do you think about Paulina’s latest allegations?
