The joy of cursing en Español
It’s more fun to curse in Spanish?
I once heard that French is the language of love, English is the language of business, German is the language of war, and Spanish is the language to communicate with God.
I would add that Spanish, besides being excellent for prayer, is a great language for cursing.
I became fluent in Spanish in my early 20's after almost two years of living in the Dominican Republic. It was humbling to not have access to the words I needed to express myself at first but early on I figured out the best phrases to air my frustration (i.e. how to curse).
Spanish curse words are situational for me. I know when it is appropriate to say a certain word or phrase, but it's hard to translate the stigma that surrounds the word itself. Most of us are trained as children to avoid saying bad words in our native language, but when we adopt a second, bad words and vulgarities are just new words, until you say them in front of the wrong person.
Many times I wouldn't even know I was saying something offensive until it came out of my mouth. For example: Ask for a "bolsa" in a supermarket in Santo Domingo. Or say you saw a "bicho" in Puerto Rico. Both words on their own are innocuous (look them up!), but blush-inducing if said in the wrong place.

My Brazilian friends shook their heads when I excitedly reported that Brazilian singer Michel Tello's song "Ai se eu ti pego" ("If I Get You" in English) is getting airplay on the Spanish-language radio stations. Apparently the lyrics are pretty vulgar in Portuguese. The translation didn't raise my eyebrows, but then again, Pit Bull did a remix so I knew it had to have been a little bit nasty.
Por ejemplo : Vete a la chingada,con una chingada,ya me llevò la chingada,està en casa de la chingada,mas feo que la chingada,mas frio que la chingada,mas caliente que la chingada,mas bonita que la chingada.
Y cuando la cosa se pone fea se dice que ''la cosa està de la chingadda''.
Por cierto, la redacciòn de su artìculo quedò de la chingada,jajaja.

Definitivamente el español es un idioma muy expresivo.
In every language as well as in every culture, there is beauty and nastyness. To understand the language the right way, you have to understand the culture. If you are only speaking the language, you are not feeling or expresing everithing you are saying. As an example: "I love you" - "Te amo" In english everybody says "I love you" Including Spanish speakers. But how many Spanish speakers say "Te amo"? Te amo" aparently has a stronger meaning. At least to people older tan 40. You will hear to say "Te quiero" in most cases. Or "te quiero muchisimo" Before saying "Te amo. Existe tambien: " Te adoro" Te idolatro" "I worship you" But of course, If you are very religious person would say: You only say that to God.
El carajo era una pequeña plataforma en la punta del mástil más alto, desde donde se observaba el horizonte, en busca de tierra, otros barcos, etc. En otro paises de habla hispana se usa la misma palabra de acuerdo a su modo de expresion o a como se quiera utilizar.
Pendejo es persona que lleva una vida irregular, viciosa y desordenada. en pocas palabras tonta como se dice desordenada.
El Joder es una expresion como decir no molestar. en pocas palabras una madre puede decir a su hijo /a "No me jodan" quiere decir lo mismo no me molesten.
Ahora no soy profesora de Espanol pero el Lenguaje Espanol es muy rico tanto en poesia podeis encontrarlo como una forma de expresarse.
El que el cantante se exprese con palabras obscenas;es porque es solo su forma de expresarse.
Recordando que en Miami hay una diversidad de paises de habla hispana se entiende que cada pais tiene su forma de interpretar el lenguaje pero en la realidad no lo usamos para ofender a otros y ademas esta el lenguaje ingles en donde hasta se ofenden a otros usando las partes de una perra y lo digo yo que se escucha mucho en fabricas.
El que escribio este reporte deberia de informarse mas antes de ponerlo en la internet.
Es que no hay palabra mal dicha, sino mal interpretada. Además, "es la música la hace la canción".
En latino américa, casi todos hablamos castellano (o español, que también es correcto), pera cada país o región tiene sus matices; sin embargo, nos comunicamos, que es lo importante
